About Me
Growing up in a small town in India, I faced numerous challenges that tested my resilience and determination. With humble beginnings and almost nobody around to provide guidance, I navigated life’s uncertainties with grit and perseverance.
High school was particularly daunting, with exams serving as dreaded reminders of my academic struggles. Despite my best efforts, I remained an average student, lacking motivation and direction.
However, in my early twenties, my life took a pivotal turn when I made the bold decision to move to the United States. It was a leap of faith, fueled by a burning desire to carve out a better future for myself.
Little did I know then that this decision would set me on a path of self-discovery and transformation.
Upon arriving in the US, I was determined to make the most of this opportunity. I enrolled in a prestigious university, eager to pursue higher education and unlock my full potential.
Despite the initial challenges of adapting to a new culture and academic environment, I persevered, fueled by the belief that success was within my reach.
My journey through higher education was not without its hurdles. I faced moments of doubt and uncertainty, grappling with feelings of inadequacy and imposter syndrome.
But with each setback, I grew stronger and more resilient, learning valuable lessons about perseverance and self-belief.
It was during my time at university that I discovered my passion for innovation and technology. I was drawn to the field of Electrical Engineering, fascinated by its potential to drive positive change and improve lives.
Despite my previous academic struggles, I excelled in my studies, fueled by a newfound sense of purpose and determination.
Upon graduating with a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the renowned Illinois Institute of Technology, I felt a profound sense of accomplishment.
It was a testament to years of hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering determination. Armed with my newfound expertise, I embarked on a career in corporate America, eager to make a meaningful impact in the world.
Over the years, I had the privilege of working with some of the biggest names in the industry, from Siemens to Philips, Acuity Brands to Rexnord, and Hitachi Group. In each role, I embraced the opportunity to solve complex problems and drive innovation, pushing the boundaries of what was possible.
Later on I went to pursue MBA from Kelley School of Business.
One of the highlights of my career was co-founding TekReboot LLC, a startup aimed at revolutionizing the tech industry with innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology.
It was a bold endeavor, fueled by a shared vision of creating products that would change the world.
Throughout my journey, I remained humble and grateful for the opportunities that had come my way.
I was honored to be recognized for my contributions to the field, receiving accolades such as being conferred ‘Who’s Who in America’ by Marquis, and being awarded 30 US patents for my innovative work as the author and lead inventor.
But beyond the accolades and achievements, what truly mattered to me was the impact I was able to make in the lives of others.
Through my work, I had the opportunity to transform customer experiences, making tasks easier and more convenient for users everywhere.
Yet, amidst the professional success and accolades, I remained grounded in my roots. I never forgot the struggles and challenges that had shaped my journey, and I was committed to giving back to those in need.
I chaired numerous NGOs and committees focused on social work and support for the poor and needy, both in the US and in India. It was my way of paying it forward, of using my success to uplift and empower others.
As I reflect on my journey—from humble beginnings in India to achieving my dreams in the United States—I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude and humility.
Each obstacle, each setback, and each triumph has shaped me into the person I am today—a beacon of hope, inspiration, and possibility for all who cross my path.
And so, as I continue on my journey, I do so with a heart full of gratitude, a mind filled with determination, and a spirit imbued with the belief that anything is possible.
For I have learned, through years of struggle and perseverance, that the power to achieve greatness lies within each and every one of us—that all we have to do is reach out and seize it with both hands.
